Modes
How the tonnage moves
Rail
Wagon and block-train movements across the CIS and into Europe, including the leg from the mill to the port of loading.
Road
Trucking for smaller lots, urgent replenishment and the last mile from port or terminal to the receiving plant.
Most shipments combine two of these. The route is chosen per lot against the destination, the volume and the delivery terms in the contract — not against a fixed template.

Delivery terms we work on
Incoterms® 2020. The terms below are the ones that come up most often; others are available on request.

| EXW | Ex Works | Buyer takes over at the mill gate and arranges everything onward. |
| FCA | Free Carrier | We hand the cargo to the carrier you nominate, cleared for export. |
| FOB | Free on Board | We cover carriage to the port and loading on board the vessel. |
| CFR | Cost and Freight | We cover carriage and sea freight to the named destination port. |
| CIF | Cost, Insurance and Freight | As CFR, with marine insurance arranged by us. |
| DAP | Delivered at Place | We deliver to the named place; import clearance stays with the buyer. |

What travels with the cargo

Mill certificate of quality
Chemical composition and mechanical properties for the lot, issued by the producing mill.

Commercial invoice and packing list
Position, grade, quantity, weights and marks, matched to the contract specification.

Transport document
Bill of lading, rail waybill or CMR, depending on the mode and the agreed terms.

Origin and customs papers
Certificate of origin and export declaration, plus any document the destination country requires.

Inspection report
Third-party inspection at loading where the contract calls for it, or where you ask for it.
