Quality and standards
All products comply with GOST and international standards of technical and physical indicators. What that means for a shipment is set out below.
Before loading
What is fixed, and when
Specification
Grade, standard, dimensions, tolerances and surface condition are written into the contract before production is booked. Nothing is left to be interpreted at the mill.
Mill certificate
Each lot is released against the producing mill’s certificate of quality: heat number, chemical composition and mechanical properties for that heat.
Independent inspection
Third-party inspection at loading where the contract calls for it, or where you ask for it. The report travels with the shipping documents.
Marking and packing
Bundling, tagging and marking to the agreed spec, so the lot can be identified against its certificate on arrival.
Claims
If something arrives outside specification, it is handled against the certificate and the inspection report rather than against opinion. Tell us early and keep the marking intact.
Standards
GOST, and whatever else the contract names
Most of the tonnage in the partner network is produced to GOST. Where a buyer works to EN, ASTM, DIN or a national equivalent, the grade is matched and the equivalence is written into the specification — not assumed.
Common equivalences
A starting point, not a substitute for the contract
Grades that look alike across systems rarely match on every indicator. The table below is how conversations usually start; what actually ships is agreed against the full specification.
